my poor hair

since moving out here i have processed my hair a total of 17 times.  i dyed my hair either the first or 2nd week of living here and the last time i dyed it was the first weekend of january.  so my poor hair is totally damaged... needless to say i have verbally signed a contract with my friend kristen and my old teacher kenzi.  i don't know when i will be allowed to do anything to my hair again...

i keep meaning to blog more since i promised my grandma carla that i would, so she can always know what's going on in my life since i hardly get to see her anymore. so here is a little inside look to what my life has been like since i moved out to provo...

 

Probably 2 seconds after this photo was taken my mom and i had to stop ourselves from crying.  I never realized how hard moving away is.

This was probably our 3rd week in school.  This is Kristen.

this past year my life has changed so much.  

i started the year out in love and i ended it knowing that being alone is alright.  

i got to see my first broadway play.

i spent some much needed time with my sister and her wonderful family
i got to hear my nephew say my name for the very first time
i went snowboarding for the very first time.

i kinda learned how to ride a motorcycle.

i got to see my best friend bless all of her babies.

i realized that my older sisters are my bestest friends.

i not only move away from home but also change my career path completely.

So I pretty much suck posting things that have happened right away. I'm trying to be a better blogger but it's just hard because I rarely take pictures.  Well while I was in Colorado I found out we were gonna have a 16 year old boy from Germany come live with us for a whole school year. Yeah my mom is crazy, what else is new?? Needless to say I was not thrilled. But my attitude about him has totally changed. He is one of the best exchange students we have ever had. I feel like I now have 2 younger brothers. He's a pretty funny kid and I think he kinda looks like Michael Cera.

Tim, Jordan, and Tanner are pretty funny when you get all 3 of them together. As you can see in these model photos.

Baby Maddux

I was on facebook looking at my sister Alli's old photos and I came across Maddux's first Halloween. I can't believe how much he has changed! Thanks to him I now love making little kid costumes.
