massive moab trip

since i have moved to utah i have come to the realization that there is always something huge going on. and this last weekend was one of them. tons and i mean tons of people from slc and provo all headed down to moab for a fun filled camping weekend. it was amazingly fun! frieday night me, hollie and some guys went on a hike up to delicate arch. you know the famous one on the license plate.  well i thought i was going to die because i was still a little sick and hiking just wasn't what my body wanted to do. and after some whining, being carried and breaks we finally made it. i might be scared of heights but the view was breath taking. then we went into town for some dinner at jay's pasta (so good!) and then we finally made our way to the camp site. i haven't had that much fun in months. i met so many cool people. i learned that if somebody wants to randomly talk to you they will call you over by what's on your sweater. my name for the night was disneyland. the next day the guys went repelling and while we (me and hollie) laid out on the side of the road. then we went to some sand dune and hiked up to some river/mini waterfall to do some cliff jumping with everyone. i was so proud of me and hollie because we are both scared of heights yet we jump off the cliff about 4 times. i definitely want to head back.

birthday

here are some pictures from my wonderful birthday! even though i wasn't able to spend it with all the people i wanted to. i'm glad that i was able to spend it with those that i could.

happy father's day

you know how lucky you are to have your dad when he sends you a text saying "i just wanted to thank you for the best father's day gift 21 years ago." my dad is truly amazing. me and all my sisters and brothers are lucky to have him and my mom as our parents. they do so much for us on a daily basis and i can't thank them enough. i love you so much daddy!

twenty-one

i'm officially 21 today!! i don't feel like an adult instead i still feel like i'm a teenager. it's so sunny outside but instead i've been indoors napping to help get myself better (of course i get sick on my birthday), and now i need to go get ready for dinner. i'm heading up to salt lake to go eat pizza at the pie and then do some wandering around town. it sounds like a fun and easy birthday to me!

my best friend whitney got sealed to her husband and darling little family on may 28th, 2011. we have gone through so much together and i was so lucky to be there for this. i love her to pieces!
